You know, you all have entries with very similar names listed. I see the names Greg, Stacy and Sarah listed in both Angie and Megan's entries. Confusing, no?

I blogged in the kitchen a rather long one I might have to say. and when are you all going to update

So I was at work this morning and this lady walks in with a dog. so Dog's and other big pets other then fish are not allowed really on campus. We have a sign on our desk that says "if anything unusual occures while working you are working the desk call the hall director on call number then gives the number" anyway so this strange lady just comes walking out the door with her little dog cute dog, but still don't know how she got in but she is in the building, then later she comes back wanting back in. Didn't know who she belongs to or why she was here was just here with her dog. So I called the director on call which is the summer hall director Sarah, and I told her what I did, and said to the lady. Then tonight as I was walking back in the bldng. I get a lovely greeting from Greg take note of the sarcasim ther He is another hall director ( I think he is a femmie person but is apprently going out with Sarah) Anyway I got chewed out for calling her at 8:30 in the morning, yes I know a little early, But she is the one on call, and that is part of her job discription, plus It was a little strange that just strange person who I had never seen before wanted to be let in and the only reason why I told her was to make the Hall director in the building aware of it. And My luck if I wouldn't have let her know about it then I would have gotten chewed out for not letting her know, I just felt like pointing to the sign on our desk that says this information and say that is what you are the "hall director on call" and that is part of Job discription, answering that phone at anytime during the day no matter what time it is, should be acceptable, and you shouldn't chew out the person for calling it.

The Route:

Hello Every one My place will be open Wed. Night if that is what you want to do. oh and angie Good luck tmrw

Staying in Sioux Falls the night before (at Megan's place? hint-hint) would be a good idea. Then we could set out early from there and save some drive-time. I'll email or talk to my mom about the driving distance time-wise and get back to you all. xx

I wasn't on MSN last night, because I was tired and wanted to go to bed and didn't want to get talking to anyone, cuz then I would stay up later and stuff like that.

Erin, check on how long it took your parents to drive out there.

I can see about getting the cabin one night earlier. Did we want to get it one night later too? I can't guarantee anything though, it might already be booked.

I will be online for just a short time tonight after work, but then I'm going home and won't be around internet until next week. So if you want to talk to me, call me at my parents.

Oh a thought, maybe we could come down to Sioux Falls Wednesday night. That would save us two hours of driving on Thursday.

On another note, my eye surgery is tomorrow morning! Wish me luck!

As a side note, I really should check this blog more often. I haven't been here forever and look how much I have missed!!! Yikes! I am so out of the loop. How pathetic is that?

Anyway. To bed with me now. Good night, all. xx

Yes. How dare you, Angie!!

Yeah, Megan. I'm still online. But I'm tired now, so I intend to go to bed really soon. But I needed to write a nice email to Jess entailing why exactly I didn't return her phone call, as I was supposed to. Sigh.

Personally, I think we could leave early that morning and reach the Rapid City and Devils' Tower areas in time to do whatever sightseeing we had wanted. I think that we should try to drive the full way the first day so that we won't be driving away our second day, too. Just my thoughts. I can check with my parents to see how they handled it when they drove out there--I wasn't with for that trip, so I don't know. But I do know that they stopped by those areas on the way there. Anyway. Blah.

I don't know I was just thinking that would give us more time on out there then spending more days on the road. and you were on line and didn't talk to Erin or I how dare you. lol But I guess I don't care. I just want to to know days that we are coming back and what time you plan on leaving for From Granite. Erin thought maybe 4 am or something when I talked to her this weekend. but that is up to you guys because I will get to sleep for 2 hours longer. Oh and I think Buffalo cus that would get us closer, but I really don't care

My thinking is that we will not be in the mood to stop at places on the way back. I was thinking that we could leave early Thursday morning. We'd have approximately 9-10 hours of driving to Gillette (from Granite), not including pee/eating/sightseeing stops. We'd need to add on at least a few hours for those. We could get to either Gillette or Buffalo, I don't really care. Buffalo is about another hour(?) past Gillette.

This Might throw a wrench in things, but couldn't we find a place that would take us for the whole time and just spend one day driving, and then hit Devils tower and the black hills stuff on the way back. What day are we planning on being back? And what time are we planning on leaving on Thurs.? I kinda need to know for work.

So we wouldn't just drive to Buffalo? Gillette isn't very far into WY.

Here's the response I got from an email I sent: The furnishings are beds and a private bathroom (shower, toilet, and sink). The usual desk-dresser unit and a small chair. No cabins have refrigerators. All linens (towels, sheets, blankets) are provided. There are no fire pits outside the cabins. They don't allow cooking inside the cabins.

The place we're staying at has a dining room, cafeteria, and a deli. Other eating places around the park, and there are 49 picnic areas in the park. Fires are permitted only in picnic areas with fire grates. There are fire grates in the following picnic areas: Bridge Bay, Cascade Lake Trail, East Lot (Old Faithful Area), Grant Village, Nez Perce, Norris Meadows, Snake River, Spring Creek and Yellowstone River. Stoves may be utilized for meal preparation in any picnic area.

I was thinking I'd take all day Thursday off, and then we could see stuff in the Black Hills and Devil's Tower on the way out there, and stay in Gillette. Our cabin rental doesn't start until Friday night, so we would still need someplace to stay that first night. If we want to we could drive straight back, but if we do drive for two days, I think we should get a ways past the Black Hills.

I think we should bring a cooler, and get the food to put in it out there (perishables anyways). I agree that we wouldn't need all the room in a huge vehicle. So what do we suggest to take for a vehicle?

Erin and I were talking last night. We were thinking that we wouldn't really need a bigger vehicle because we won't have the tents and all of that stuff to bring with us. All we need is our clothes and cooler. Unless Angie you know otherwise Like what they provide us in our cabin, ie. bedding tolit supplies etc. And if we do need food we could just get it while we were out there. What do we all think? Also Angie we kinda need to know what your planning on doing if your working for 1/2 day or not. And if you are not then we thought we could just drive all the way out there and save on a hotel room.

So Yeah KARI AKA puke girl is going to London on the 2nd. Let alone that class ends on the 3rd. The same class that she keeps missing because she is "sick" WHATEVER!!! We (our group we are in for class) had to schedule our test (oral) for today just for HER!! and we planned on meeting last night and oh she is home sick. Her current roommate has been diagnosed with migranes for several years now and all of a sudden Kari has them too. I never knew that they were contagious. Like I am serious Heidi (her roommate an a friend of mine) got a Migrane earlier in the summer, and like that next day KARI had one too. This one lasted a week long. WOW amazing how that happens (rolls eyes) Then she was sick with the "flu" she just couldn't keep anything down. ok.... well if she would stop sticking her fist down her throat than maybe it would stay down. She has a migrane yesturday and said she will be there for the final today. But I am sure we will all hear how Terrrible she is feeling. But I guareentee by her flight time to London she will be all better. GO figure. If people would stop let me rephrase that STOP STOP STOP having empathy/pity on her shewould stop faking it. Also yest. when we were trying to get ahold of here to discuss test times she ignored the phone and claims she was sleeping. Now I know I can't hear very well but I still can hear my phone ring. Espically if it rings and rings over and over and the people on the other end leave messages upon messages to try to get to her. SHE ANNOYS THe HELL out of me .
