Do you know what? The exact same thing happened to me when I was at Texaco last night! I pulled in thinking my tank was on the passenger side--then when I realized when it wasn't, I pulled around to the next tank. The only problem was that I pulled onto the wrong side again! It took me three tries to finally get the side right! When we (Jessi and I) went inside to pay, the clerk asked if I had my car long. The funny thing is, I didn't realize he was making a joke until I thought about it this morning! I am such a reject.

Well here I am I acctually am bloging in here since I haven't done that in a while. I haven't had anything to blog about really. My life is just so peacefull around here with out Tanja I can't really blog about much. I worked today mostly setting up the dorms for the conference tmrw. I am tired though. Last night a friend of mine and I went roller blading like 4 blocks. Took like an Hour. but after that I was Tired. I was getting ready for bed at 11 pm and my phone rings. DAMMIT!1 I was just getting ready for bed. It was this deaf person that I knew from STI and is very dependent or something on friends or the few she has anyway. Anyway her son ate all the food she had in the house and she was hungry. Now think she could have called earlier but NO. Plus she was asking me to help her set up her new computer desk. so i went and did that. But when I got there I found out that she tried to set it up herself and the threads in the wood were gone for the screws and she couldn't take it back because she threw the box away. Let's just say that I was there until like 1:30 and didn't get to bed until 2 am. Also she was asking me to babysit her son. I told her maybe depending on my schedule, but I lied when I told her I worked because I need time off and plus i don't want her to become dependant on me. So I was really tired by the time I got back to the dorm. I had to be at work at 9 am today too. So I would need to be up by 8 to shower and stuff. But you think i could sleep until 8 no I had to get up at 7:30 for no apparent reason just woke up. DAMMIT. We set up my old dorm for the conference this summer, they will come in tmrw. I got to the Stavig dorm and I was there 10 mins when Ian came and asked me to play Monopoly. I told him I was working but would after work. So I spent that time playing monopoly until he had to go to the doctor. But we finished the game when he got back. He is suppose to come up and play games on my computer later tonight too. But while he was at the doctor I bought books for the summer. OMG!! $115 for the summer. total of 10 Books. for 2 classes. English 200 has 6 and Religion 110 has 4 guess what I will be doing while I am killing time at the desk. Well that has u guys up to date. Now theres a book for ya. Later

I don't know what the hell I was thinking this afternoon when I went to go get gas. I pulled up thinking that my gas tank was on the left side. Whoops! It's on right side. I didn't think of this until after I got out of the car. So I get back into my car and pull around to another spot. But no! This big boat of a car has pulled so far ahead that I can't get anywhere near to get gas at that spot. So I had to move again. I felt like a tard. lol.

At least you're not vacuuming at some god-awful hour in the morning. Then you would be turning into your mom. hee. I've noticed I'm a lot like my mom, too, actually. Strange. Must be environmental conditioning or something. Like how when you live at home, everyone else who lives with you gets their period at the same time. My dorm this year had 26 girls PMSing during the same week and a half. It was not pretty. hee-hee.

Ok, so this may sound rather corny, but I bought some Lime-Away today at Wal-mart, and it worked so well on my toilet bowl. It was so nasty. People before me must not have cleaned it very often. There was this brown ring right above where the water is. Now it's gone! Ok, I'm turning into my mom. Scary.

It's an odd thing that I haven't missed Angie only once, but twice! First Friday night, apparently, Angie called me twice asking if I wanted to go with to a movie. And Dad said I was gone, but I wasn't. I was in my room, sleeping. Then last night, I got back from Mpls. early (Mom and Dad weren't expecting me home til later today) and I find out later Angie went out w/our parents to a movie! Jeez. Hopefully we are actually on the same page when the next time rolls around. hee.

I'm back from the cities. I went on an overnight trip w/Corissa. I spent way too much money, but I had a great time and it was a great break from being here. I really needed to get away after what happened Thursday.

Hi Erin I can see where you are frustrated. But you Do need to remember that for the summer it really isn't your place. I know it sounds bad but it is true. Also If you are having this big of a problem now with them and you haven't even lived with them yet what will it be like in the school year. I guess I took the internship mainly because I could get some experience there. At KELO, it just seemed so disorganized as to what I would actually be doing. And most of the position didn't exactly appeal to me at all. The copy-writing was what appealed to me, but I would only do that for a week or so. The rest of the job...kind of blew. They pretty much had me slated as a gopher. And that is not what I had in mind for my internship. Why else would I continue applying for other internships if I didn't have doubts about this one?

Oh Erin I am a little dissapointed but I support you. I can see you wanting to stay in Marshall in due to the $$$$ thing. But I thought you should come to Sioux Falls. Not because of Me but to give you experience in a different place then just Marshall. But I guess that is your oppinion. So its totally up to you. Megan

Well, I made my choice and I will not be going to Sioux Falls this summer. I weighed it all out last night and I think this will be a better fit for me (and I'll get PAID!). Hi there Well I got back from taking pictures of the Queen of Jordan. When I got back I had 2 msgs one from my grandma and one from my Dad looks like my grandpa is going home tmrw. YAY!! but that meant that my dad was coming up to take down my loft tmrw and put in storage. So now I have been spending time moving my computer desk and stuff from under my loft so that it can go down tmrw. so I get to live in a mess until Monday, thats when our student government will have summer storage for us. I'm not sure what will happen with Friday night. Truth be told, I have a lot of shit going down. I have a program from 4:00-6:00 or so. Then on Saturday I have a group meeting that will go pretty much all day. At 8:00 Saturday night a RA staff social. Sunday all-day group meeting (different group.) Sunday night year-end banquet. Monday I have a bunch of papers and presentations due. After that, I will coast through the year end.
